Virtual Hospital is a digital library of health information sponsored by the University of Iowa. The lung sounds page features recordings of 17 normal and abnormal breath sounds. Requires software such as Windows Media Player to play back the sounds.

This group bills itself as "The National EMS, Ambulance, & Medical Transportation Industry Law Firm." The firm's website has resources of interest to EMS providers, including a "tip of the week" that is informative, if not always published weekly.

Interactive Educators distributes a CD developed by staff at the College of Health Sciences in Roanoke. The CD demonstrates procedures like intubation, backboarding, IVs, medication administration, and dozens of other skills essential to prehospital providers. You can view several free video clips at the Interactive Educators website (click the link at left) and order the $20 CD there, too.
