2004 EMS Barbeque

The emergency department staff (Rappahannock General Hospital) recognized Rebekah Haynie as the region's EMS Provider of the Year for 2004. Rebekah received her award at the RGH annual EMS barbeque.

Rebekah Haynie is a founding member of Mid-County and is the second Mid-County member to receive the RGH award. Rebekah was Mid-County's Member of the Year for 2003 and 2001. She has served as squad secretary since forever. She works on fundraising as a member of the Mid-County Auxiliary. On the many calls Rebekah runs, she is a welcomed assistant to the EMTs and a familiar, comforting face to the patients.

Rebekah doesn't stop serving when the call is over. She follows up with hospital visits, brownies, cards, phone calls, cheer, and visits after her patients go home.
