I - Nancy called the meeting to order.

II - Secretary's Report

Minutes posted. Devin made a motion to accept the minutes and Roger seconded the motion. All approved the minutes.

III - Treasurer's Report

A copy is attached. Cindi made a motion to accept the Treasurer's Report and Ed. G. seconded the motion. All approved the report.

IV - Captain's Report

  1. 20 calls for March. 120 calls for the year.

  2. Wesley Brown is our newest EMT.

  3. CPR class Saturday April 19, 2003 - 466, 442, 453, and 448 need to be recertified.

  4. There is a list posted in the lobby of number of hours required to recertify and certification expiration dates for each member. Can get details online or from quarterly report in your personnel file.

  5. Battery regimen for new AEDs: Should be changed every 24 hours just like for Marquettes. Please maintain this habit. If you come by the building for any reason, assume the batteries need to be changed and please change them! You don't want to get on a scene with weak batteries in AED.

  6. HIPAA - Session at RTH - Wednesday April 9, 2003 at 7:00pm. Everybody please attend.

  7. Distribute Va. Emergency Medical Services Rules and Regulations manuals tonight.

V - Vice-President's Report - None.

VI - 1st Lieutenant's Report

Clean up engine room, reseal floor and will plan a workday later.

VII - 2nd Lieutenant's Report - None.

VIII - Vehicle Officer's Report

Plan on getting new vehicle by the end of April.

IX - Auxiliary's Report

  1. Bingo on 4-4-03.

  2. Pancake Supper on 4-5-03.

  3. Bake Sale on 4-12-03 and 6-21-03.

  4. Chicken Dinner on 5-18-03.

X - Building Committee Report

Will install new water heater soon.

XI - President's Report

  1. Congratulations to #404 Wesley Brown as our newest EMT.

  2. Congratulations to #485 Arnette Butler. She will become Principal of North'd. Elem. School July 1, 2003.

XII - Old Business

Ed G. made a motion to accept Management and Administration Title Finance. Review period ends April 2003 and Wesley seconded the motion. All approved.

XIII - New Business

  1. Planning to have a picnic at Mallard Bay on July 19 and Sept. 13.

  2. Christmas party to be on Dec. 13.

XIV - Training Report
