7:30 PM - General Business Meeting – Wednesday, December 7, 2005.
I - Nancy called meeting to order.
II - Secretary's Report
  • Dan T. Made a motion to accept the minutes and Jeanne seconded it. The minutes were posted and adopted.
III - Treasurer's Report
  • A grant from the Covington Foundation was given in the amount of $3500.00. We have been receiving money in Memory of Bonnie P. Hinton. Larry made a motion to accept the report and Dave seconded it.
IV - Captain's Report
  • The EMS symposium was held November 9th – 12th, 2006.
  • A reminder that all responders should wear a safety vest when assisting at all vehicle accidents (day or night). Vests are located on the ambulances.
  • The Captain will put out information about the use of Rescue Command 4 .

V - Vice-President's Report
  • None.
VI - 1st Lieutenant's Report
  • Rescue Command 4 went to the Radio Shop to be rewired and Herb will replace the letters.
VII - 2nd Lieutenant's Report
  • None.
VIII - Vehicle Officer's Report
  • The generator on #46 has problems and Herb has the equipment and he will install.
IX - Auxiliary's Report
  • The November Bake Sale took in over $900.00.
X - Building Committee Report
  • None.
XI - President's Report
  • In January, we will vote on Linda Wilson & Judy Cook.
  • Marty Hancock has resigned from the Squad.
  • The Christmas Party will be held December 10 th at 6 PM.
  • A REMINDER….PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF. LEAVE THE BUILDING LIKE YOU FOUND IT.
XII - Old Business
  • Nancy continues to call Vanecek about the ceiling tiles upstairs .
XIII - New Business

XIV - Training Committee Report
  • Safety vests have come in, #46 & #48 has 3 each. Rescue Command 4 has 2 vests.
  • January 2006 training will start back up on the 2 nd Sunday of the month .
  • The Stretcher Committee has given several prices on information they have found.
  • The updated M.C.V.R.S. training and announcements about nearby courses are posted on the training bulletin board in the lobby.

  • None.
