I - Nancy called meeting to order.
II - Secretary's Report
Minutes posted. Dan T. made a motion to accept the minutes and Herb seconded the motion. They were adopted.
III - Treasurer's Report
Dan T. made a motion and Debra seconded it to accept the report. All approved.
IV - Captain's Report
  • 29 calls for Oct.- 325 calls for the year.
  • Turn off the engine on the ambulance when you are at the hospital. If you need to keep the generator running for climate control, then move the unit away from the door. You need to maintain climate control when the outside temperature is below 60 or above 80 degrees.
  • Somebody’s leaving dirty dishes in the sink and leaving food out in the kitchen. If you know who is doing it, please ask them to clean up after themselves. Also, someone is making a big mess in the bathroom. Please keep an eye out for people who are staying at the station.
  • Next month’s training will be about stair chair usage.

Drivers--after you mark the ambulance en-route, please switch the radio to the appropriate channel (RGH or RTH) and press the F/R button to move control of the radio to the patient compartment. That way, the EMT won't have to fiddle with the radio controls when he or she calls the hospital with the patient report.
VIII - Vehicle Officer's Report

Inspection completed on vehicles.
IX - Auxiliary's Report
Bake Sale to be held Sat. Nov. 20 th at the Bk. Of North’d in Heathsville from 8:30-12:00.
X - Building Committee Report
Courthouse Construction's bid for snow jacks is $3,923.00, installed and warranted for 1 year. Herb made a motion and Dave seconded it. Squad approved up to $3,923.00. Paul Ryan is looking for a lower bid.
XI - President's Report
  • None.
XII - Old Business
  • Dave made a motion to spend $950.00 for acoustic ceiling in the meeting room. Cindi seconded the motion. All agreed.
  • Christy is in charge of the Christmas party. Sign-up sheet is circulating for help.
XIII - New Business
  • Cindi made a motion for the squad to spend $1,500.00-1,700.00 for a computer. Garfield seconded it. Dan T. made a motion and Dave seconded for Mike C. to purchase a computer following approval by Cindi and Nancy.

  • Dave made a motion and Garfield seconded for Nancy to proceed dismissal of Kim Akers and Danny Robinson .
