Continuing Education Report Online

The Virginia Office of EMS (OEMS) provides an online summary of the continuing education credits obtained by and credits needed to recertify for each certified EMS provider. Here's how it works:

First, browse to the OEMS home page at http://www.vdh.virginia.gov/oems/

Next, on the home page, click the Education, Training and Certification link:

Then, on the Training page, click the EMS Provider CE Report link:

On the Sign-In page, type your certification number and password. (Read the screen for more specific instructions.)

Click the Sign In button.

The OEMS website returns the screen shown below. Click the Prepare CE Report button.

Your report will appear on the screen.

Do You Know...?

 

After-the-Broadcast EMSAT Credit

You can get category 3 CE credit for watching a tape of an EMSAT broadcast? Here's how it works:

  • Mid-County subscribes to the EMSAT videotape program. We get a copy of every EMSAT broadcast.

  • Tapes are stored in the cabinet next to the store-room door, south wall, in the crew lounge.

  • Find the tape you want to watch. Get a copy of the test and a bubble sheet from an operations officer.

  • Watch the tape.

  • Take the test and fill out your answers on the bubble sheet.

  • Send the bubble sheet to:
