Matthew Rowe -- 5th place State Sr. Prepared Public Speaking Contest Greg Jones-- State Proficiency Award Winner -- Env. Sc. and Nat. Res. Mgt. Casey Rogers-- State Proficiency Award Winner -- Outdoor Recreation Brad Burton -- State Proficiency Award Winner -- Ag. Processing Area Proficiency Award Winners -- Greg Jones, Casey Rogers, Brad Burton, David Deitz, Randy Dodson, David O'Bier, Christian Nash, James Martin, Ashley Cockrell, Jamie Webb, David Bray, Clayton Dameron, and Joey Thompson. ***Randy, James, and David O'Bier placed second in the state in their proficiency award areas. Chapter Awards -- Superior rating in chapter contest, Recognition in the Chapter Development, Student Development, and Community Development Awards Division, Gold public relations award, and the 100% membership award State FFA Degree Recipients -- Dadrien Jones, Jason Lowery, Randy Dodson, and Casey Rogers, who was also named the Star Central Area Agribusinessman Special Recognition -- Special recognition was presented to the NHS-FFA, NHS-FFA Alumni, and Northumberland Young Farmers as sponsors to the VA. FFA Foundation BLUE and Gold program, and the NHS-FFA was recognized as a member of the VA. Tech Founders Society Alumni Awards -- Northumberland FFA Alumni named the #1 CHAPTER in the state |
