Use this information to change your dial-up telephone number.
Please read the following documentation carefully and completely!
From your Windows XP desktop Double Click on your dial-up icon (RiverNet) as you would when making a connection.
Replace the existing telephone number with the appropriate new number for your county/locality. Be sure that the number is a local call for you.

Click Dial.  You will be prompted  "Make the phone number change permanent?"  Click YES.

You will have successfully updated your Dial-Up Networking telephone number.  This change only needs to take place 1 time.
